God’s plan for world evangelization has always been through the New Testament local church. Following the Scriptural pattern, the missionary is trained, commissioned, and continues under the authority of his home church throughout the entirety of his work. Missions and the Local Church will provide every Christian practical insight on this relevant topic and encourage him to fulfill his individual purpose in Biblical missions.
Author Bio: David Sloan is being used in a mighty way as the Missions Director at Golden State Baptist College. Previously, he and his family were missionaries in the Former Soviet Union and the Middle East, where he served as United States representative to the Christian Caucus in the Israeli parliament, the Knesset.
