Many Christians find themselves in a situation not much better than the people whom the Apostle Paul had encountered at Ephesus. These people had been to Israel and heard John the Baptist preach about sin and the coming Savior. After they returned to Ephesus, news of the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of the Son of God never reached them. These people told Paul, “We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost” (Acts 19:2).
Many Christians have heard of the Holy Spirit, but they do not know much about Him. The Comforter Has Come was written for those who want to know more about God the Holy Spirit, the quiet member of the Trinity.
